…From the First Photograph
As you know, photography is not a new phenomenon. From the first photograph in 1820s to its digital artistry today, the art of photography has definitely changed over the last two centuries, and for some, it has defined their generation. Photographs has been used to essentially ‘freeze time’ and allow future generations the opportunity to truly ‘witness’ events and activities from decades before they were even born. Old photographs have given historians more information in a single snapshot than some of the many manuscripts or written letters discovered….because ‘a photo is worth a thousand words’ as Henrik Isban inferred back in the early 1900s.
In 2014, always having a love for the art and its ability to share a unique ‘point of view’ with others, Bryan decided to dive deeper in his passion. Photography is not something that one can simply pick up one day and master. It takes practice and time...which aligns with the inspirational phrase that was taught to Bryan while in college, "Success is a Journey, Not a Destination." Photography is something that can be simply learned, but takes time to master...it is a slow journey to understand and perfect.
